I’m Christian Echeverría, but everyone calls me Choko. I’m an Ecuadorian travel blogger passionate about exploring the world and everything related to social media. In my free time, I dedicate myself to traveling across the Americas.

ChokoHost is a new platform that helps travelers book accommodations across the inhabited Galapagos Islands well in advance and at fair prices, benefiting both hotel owners and visitors alike.

ChokoTrip was born in January 2013 from the journeys I have taken across Ecuador. Through it, I share my experiences from each destination and create travel guides to help fellow travelers. These adventures have helped me build a strong presence as both an Ecuadorian travel blogger and through my Instagram account, @ChokoEc.

In 2014, my blog ChokoTrip was selected as one of the 12 finalists in the Americas for the ”Travel Blogger 2014” competition, organized by the renowned FITUR tourism fair.

Many bloggers showcase the brands they have worked with, and I used to do the same. However, I no longer think it’s worth listing those companies, as they didn’t help me build ChokoTrip.

My wife Rita played an important role in the creation of this travel blog. She accompanies me on most of my journeys.
